Here's a little about our family!
First of all thank you for visiting our site. I would like to tell you a little about our family
& how our kennel got started.
My name is Tessa Clark owner of " TLC Country Kennel ". I have lived in Southeast Kansas all my life & have always loved animals. I would take in almost every stray that came around our house when I was growing up. Spent most summers over at my grandparents, who didn’t live to far from us around their animals.
I guess that is why I am raising dogs.
I married my husband Jeff in March 1994 & have lived on our 80 acre farm in Columbus, KS since July 1997. We have two children Ryan & McKinzie. My husband is a farmer & I am stay @ home mom.
We are a Christian Family & attend Center Christian Church. We are so blessed to have Jesus in our lives.
Our kids are both involved in 4-H. My daughter has shown one of our Cocker Spaniel males (Dancer) in our Cherokee county fair & received reserve champion the last 2 years in showmanship. She also has shown her Llamas in the fair & both kids are showing goats for the first @ the 2007 county fair. So as you can tell my kids love animals as well. We plan to add a few meat goats & a couple horses to our farm in the near future.
We love our country life & would not trade it for anything.
I decided to start raising Cocker Spaniels in 1999, because growing up that was always one of my favorite breeds. They are great family dogs & so full of love.
Just in the last few years we have added some other breeds.
Bassets, Chipoos, & Cockapoos.
All these breeds are great breeds & would make great family pets.
Our goal is to sell good quality & healthy puppies. You will see if you decide to purchase a puppy from us that they are well loved & family raised around kids. I make sure every puppy is handled when they are born till the time they are ready for their new homes. I hope this helps in your decision to choose one our puppies.
